Better Diamonds was founded in 2022 by Toshik Anand, a certified gemologist and engineer hailing from a distinguished jewellery family. Our journey began during a transformative trip to Surat in 2017 when we encountered lab-grown diamonds and recognized their potential to revolutionize the industry.

In the pursuit of our vision, Toshik set up a successful lab diamond business in Canada in 2018 and 2019. However, as fate would have it, the unforeseen challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to make the difficult decision to shut down operations midway.

Undeterred by the setback, we regrouped and harnessed our collective determination to establish Better Diamonds in 2022. We took this as an opportunity to reframe our approach, combining our expertise in ethically sourced diamonds, both lab-grown and natural, with an unwavering commitment to exceptional craftsmanship.
